Since its inception, The 2 BigHearts Foundation has been
instrumental in raising awareness and disseminating news
of heart disease in women and has made significant
strides in spreading information about the inherent
dangers of undiagnosed heart disease in women.
In some
of its most important work, the Foundation has been
instrumental in saving lives by working with
LaPorte
County Hospital in providing free cardiovascular
screenings for women, some of whom were found to have
previously undiagnosed heart conditions and thus
enabling physicians to intervene with needed therapies.
The following time line illustrates key events and
efforts of the Foundation to date:
2004
2005
2006
Jim Clarke has been
interviewed numerous times in a variety of media and
given many speeches communicating the story of Gigi and
Sally and promoting the mission of The 2 BigHearts
Foundation.
Additional efforts are planned for the balance of 2006
and beyond to continue to keep the issue of heart
disease in women in the forefront of the media and to
assist those affected by heart disease in a woman.
