Announces
Additions to Board of Directors
CHICAGO (January
31, 2006)— The 2BigHearts Foundation has
announced the addition of two new members to
its Board of Directors. The announcement was
made by Jim Clarke, founder and president of
the 2BigHearts Foundation.
The two new board members are
Lorette Farrell of Michigan City, Indiana,
and Kevin Murray of Lockport, Illinois.
Ms. Farrell, a real estate
agent for Mickey Gallas Properties in Long
Beach, Indiana, had known the two big
hearts, Gigi Clarke and Sally Czechanski for
many years, and has been a very active
participant in the Foundation's early
efforts. "It is an honor to be asked to be
on the Board of the 2BigHearts Foundation,”
Ms. Farrell explains. “I appreciate
everything that the Foundation is striving
to accomplish in memory of Gigi and Sally."
Mr. Murray, owner of Murray
Appraisals, is active in other foundations
and had known the two big hearts for several
years. "I am very excited about being asked
to join the Board of the 2BigHearts
Foundation,” he states. “We miss Gigi and
Sally very much and want to keep their
legacy alive by fulfilling the mission of
the Foundation."
"I am thrilled to have Lori
and Kevin join the Board," says Jim Clarke,
board president and husband of Gigi Clarke.
“They have both been very good friends of
Gigi and Sally and very supportive of the
Foundation. They will add so much to this
important cause."
The mission of the 2BigHearts
Foundation is to prevent unnecessary deaths
and increase awareness of heart disease in
women with early diagnosis and education.
Heart disease is the
number-one killer of women in the U.S.
